Production Enhancement and Flow Assurance (PEFA)
VAOS well stimulation is a process of enhancing hydrocarbons production from its reservoir to surface as in many oilfield/gas fields, including wells and pipelines the production decline is a neverending topic - especially for production engineers and well service teams.
The dominant reason will be to increase the production rate (hydrocarbon / gas) or even in some case is to reactivate idle wells in brown fields.
Unlock the full potential of your hydrocarbon reservoir with our expert stimulation solutions. Our state-of-the-art processes are designed to enhance production by repairing any formation damage caused by skins, such as scale, wax, emulsion, hydrate, paraffin, and inorganic materials.
Our matrix stimulation techniques are tailored to both sandstone and carbonate reservoirs, improving the flow path of hydrocarbons by removing any plugs or depositions that narrow the path.
Meanwhile, our unique solutions are focused on carbonate reservoirs, increasing permeability and creating uniform wormholes with overpressure, allowing for the best possible flow of hydrocarbons.
An experienced team of engineers is dedicated to providing tailored solutions to each unique reservoir, ensuring maximum production and efficiency. With our cutting-edge technology and years of expertise, we are the go-to solution for all your stimulation needs.

• Deep Ground Cathodic Protection Wells at 103D

Automated Tank Cleaning (ATC)
VAOS has extensive experience in this field and can provide tank cleaning, hydrocarbon recovery, maintenance and repair of storage tanks at refineries, oil fields and tank terminals.
Our tank cleaning service is automated, mobile and modular, and non-man entry.
The system is designed to clean large volume, difficult-to-clean oil tanks and is suitable for both floating and fixed roof tanks.
Its ‘closed loop cleaning system’ heavily reduces the impact of tank cleaning on the environment and provides beyond 97% hydrocarbon recovery.
When compared to manual cleaning techniques, this system is safer and reduces the tank down-time up to 80%.
Case Study
VAOS was contracted by Zueitina Oil Company (ZOC) to clean a 560,000 bbl crude oil storage tank with an estimated sludge content of 40,300 bbl.
The tank had a ‘double floating deck’ which made access difficult and entry hazardous.
The ATC system was deployed, resulting in the recovery of 40,250 bbl of crude oil (99.8% recovery rate), with a commercial value of $5,192,250 whilst maintaining the highest of environmental standards and sustaining no injuries.
Main reasons for using our ATC system:
• Near 100% recovery of hydrocarbons.
• Marketable products.
• Minimal waste disposal necessary.
• Minimal hydrocarbon emission to atmosphere due to closed-loop cleaning system.
• Lower consumption of water, electricity and air.
• Up to 80% reduction of tank cleaning time.

Ionized Heavy Oil Flow Process (IHOF)
VAOS offers MAX FLOW™ which is a breakthrough ionization-based technology designed to significantly improve the flow characteristics of heavy crude oil — without chemicals, diluents, or heating.
Heavy crude oil represents an estimated 30–40% of the world’s total oil reserves. However, these resources remain difficult and expensive to transport due to their physical properties.
Heavy crude typically exhibits:
-
extremely high viscosity
-
elevated density
-
poor pipeline flow characteristics
MAX FLOW™ uses a proprietary ionization mechanism that influences intermolecular interactions within heavy crude oil.
During the process:
-
The crude oil flows through a controlled ionization chamber.
-
The oil is exposed to a precisely regulated ionization field.
-
Intermolecular forces between heavy hydrocarbon chains are temporarily reduced.
-
The oil’s resistance to flow decreases.
This results in improved fluid dynamics, allowing heavy crude oil to move more efficiently through pipelines and transport systems.
